Now that the above is said and done, WELCOME to SOS!

Before you get wrapped up and all cozy here with a yummy story of your choice, I want to mention that most of the main characters of SOS's stories are based on true-to-life people who actually lived during the 1800's and even earlier.

For instance, Fujita Goro/ Saitou Hajime is a genuine, historical person who dedicated his life to the ideals he believed in a time when it was difficult to live comfortably in Japan. During that time the country was in turmoil and unrest, and out from all the dust and grime men and women made quite a mark in history. They left behind a bounty of wisdom for us all to draw from today.

The primary objective of this website, various stories, and art, is to draw your attention to the fact that although most everything here is fiction, a lot of the content is based on historical charters and events. If there should be just one of you who will, through our efforts, be motivated to study their lives and get to know a historical individdual then our purpose for this site's existence would be fulfilled.

Joining our family of fiction is the Taro story. Unlike the rest of the stories here at SOS, the Taro Story is more of a dedication story rather than a story based on a historical person or event.  I'll not say too much of  why I dedicate this story to someone even before it is completed, but I will invite you to investigate who the story is dedicated to.  It'll be an adventure for you to find out.  However, I will tell you that you will find this person to be a very unique and talented individual, and if you give yourself a chance to get to know him, you may find yourself inspired and motivated as I have. I can promise you this much-- a lot of what you will find will pleasantly surprise you.
